FOTONICA photon, historically as light, from Greek φωτός (photòs), is a festival that investigates art forms related to the light element, in particular digital light.
FOTONICA wants to spread Visual Visual Arts in a context of cultural offering such productions, given the increasing quantity and quality of operators, artists and audiences who are now eager to enjoy it.
FOTONICA wants to be a new project in a field where Rome has always been a reference but today suffers from the lack of an international event: Audio Visual Digital Arts.
The idea is to organize an event in December at MACRO, involving Roman realities in building a program that represents different forms of Visual Digital Arts:
Performance Audio Video – Live Cinema Festival
Installazioni Audio Video – RGB Light Experience
Videomapping – RoMap
Lectures – Art is Open Source – Culture Action Europe
Live Sets di Musica Elettronica e VJ Sets – Spring Attitude, Strati LPM e Live Performers Meeting
Workshops – Fusolab 2.0
Laboratori bambini – Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
NetArt – Shockart.net
Attività collaterali – Vari
